I was in the kitchen with Blake again, last weekend when we made a warm Double-Berry Crisp for dessert. This is a perfect dessert for a Valentine celebration, and so I decided that we would cut the recipe in half (it serves 9) for the three of us (Jack, Blake and me) and use individual heart-shaped oven-proof casseroles instead of one larger casserole.
First, Blake had to learn how to measure level tablespoonfuls of sugar and flour by leveling off the excess with a small metal spatul
