I was in the kitchen with Blake again, last weekend when we made a warm Double-Berry Crisp for dessert. This is a perfect dessert for a Valentine celebration, and so I decided that we would cut the recipe in half (it serves 9) for the three of us (Jack, Blake and me) and use individual heart-shaped oven-proof casseroles instead of one larger casserole.

Hi everyone. I just signed in to this website. I should have done it long time ago..
I love to be creative and fun while cooking and baking. My son's first birthday is coming up soon and I would love to make it a Dr. Seuss theme. Any ideas how to make a fun cake or cupcakes related to Dr Seuss? I've seen many recipes online for Cat in the Hat cakes and not one has really impressed me.
